Now (as I clear my throat) whenever you have a disclaimer written on a music album you know you are in for a real political treat. And this is what Cilvaringz brings forth- an album with the audacity to shock and lure audiences with an alternative view. Cilvaringz ties his political points into the “Wu-Tang sounding mixes”. A “Wu-Tang sounding mix”? Yes, a “Wu-Tang sounding mix”- a dark dungeon bass beat that is distinct and signature to Wu- Tang. Most of their records will play this samurai sounding ninja fighting bass and Cilvaringz is no different.

Cilvaringz is one of the few Hip hop artists from Europe who managed to turn his dream into reality. Hip hop music first came to his attention at the age of 13. In 1993, a player on his basketball team played him a tape of the Wu-Tang Clan and Cilvaringz fell in love with the music. Later in his adulthood he joined the Wu-Tang family. It was in 1999, after spending two years flying back and forth to New York in an effort to meet RZA, that he was eventually signed to the Wu-Tang international label. He initially made himself known to the group after jumping on stage during a Wu-Tang concert in Amsterdam and delivering a freestyle rhyme impressing many of Wu’s members. After six years, in early 2007, his debut album was released. Cilvaringz

If you like the sounds of previous Wu-Tang records than you are sure to love the sound of Cilvaringz!
