Pearl Jam w/ The Wallflowers and Zeke 1 Year ago Karma: 0
My first concert was in Seattle on July 21, 1998. Pearl Jam played Memorial Stadium at the Seattle Center. It was their first hometown concert since they settled their feud with Ticketmaster and also one of their first shows with Matt Cameron on drums. Eddie rambled on about how the Bible is useless while swigging red wine from the bottle. They tore through most of their hits and, of course, some rarities. They even threw in a cover of Baba O'Riley.

The Wallflowers opened for them and played all their hits plus a cover of Won't Get Fooled Again.

I was fifteen and went with one of my friends. We both took dates and it turned out pretty well.

Oh yeah, Zeke is a local Seattle punk band and I thought they blew.
