My favorite groups are Muse and Rage Against the Machine, because in the case of Muse, the compositions of the songs are so well done especially on Absolution, an album that floored me on first listen. Matt Bellamy is an amazing vocalist and a great piano p_layer_, and there's overall awesome work done with the songs.

Rage is more that they always fit my rock quotient. All of their songs have a unique moment where they just go balls out and it's just awesome. Their political ideology is pretty flawed and if you've listened to one Rage album, you've listened to them all, but I love them because they have amazing musical consistancy.
