ohiostate1016 From all of the things that i have been reading, there is a scheduled band meeting sometime this month. None of the members know what the meeting will be about, but all of them are actually pretty busy in the coming weeks and months.

Robert Plant plans to open a tour with Alison Krauss in May to promote their album "Raising Sand."

John Paul Jones is scheduled to produce an album for singer-fiddler Sara Watkins.

Jason Bonham (who replaced his father, John, who died in 1980, during the concert in December) is a regular member of the band Foreigner.

Guitarist Jimmy Page has made no comments about his plans or about Zeppelin's future.

Personally, I don't think that any of these would necessarily stop a reunion tour from happening, but none of them really help. Stay tuned for more news.

OxforD63 it looks as though the band will hit the road for a reunion tour in 2008

There was an announcement about 3 weeks ago that they would be headlining Bonnaroo next year. This report, which was more likely a leak than an actual press release was retracted the next day with a lot of um's and ah's. While they may not end up doing it, there had to be some truth to the report (or leak) in the first place _base_d on the way it was retracted the next day with a half-assed lame retraction.

The Police headlined this year... so anything is possible.
ohiostate1016 There's a nice writup about the history and reunion of the band in the current issue of Rolling Stone magazine, and it looks as though the band will hit the road for a reunion tour in 2008 (they have already played one show in England). I decided to start a thread to gauge the thoughts and opinions of the rest on this board.
