Artist: Raekwon Presents Icewater
Title: Polluted Water
Label: Babygrande Records

If you aren’t from around here don’t come around here, I don’t know what you heard…be careful when you roam around here...” taken from the first track, Animal, a creepy chime echoing and intertwined with a hard bass beat, rough and in your face lyrics, this is no game, and Raekwon is sure to keep you filled in on what his music represents. A slamming intro to a seventeen track album, that is sure to turn listeners into fanatics. His Polluted Water debut features Busta Rhymes, Doing It Big. EZ Elpee hooks up with Raekwon because he’s a boss. Jagged Edge is sending sounds All Night, while Three Six Mafia makes a surprise cameo- Let’s Get It.  The album is a mix of different beats, different styles, and a talented conglomeration of new hip hop styles ready to bring music to the urban ear.

Under the tutelage of WuTang’s chief Raekwon, the four man crew of Polite, Stomach, Paulie Caskets, and Donnie Cash are now ready for the spotlight. Raekwon states, “We knew these cats had potential way back when, but the timing wasn’t right. I always kept a radar on these dudes, and when I felt that they was ready mentally, and lyrically, I helped ‘em get on.” Released on August 28th, the album is available and in stores now.
