Reviews Artist: Astrid WilliamsonTitle: Boy For You Label: One Little Indian The title track on Boy for You is a combination of folk, pop, and rock and melds together with power chords and sometimes nonsensical lyrics. Although I enjoyed jamming out to this song in the car, I can’t quite figure out why she is the boy for me. Her ballads are something quite different, however. If You See the Man is a slower and softer song that might sounds like it would be right at home in an off-Broadway show. It's hard to listen past the first few bars of this song without cringing a little. During the upbeat tracks, Williamson definitely has some awesome rock and classical undertones going on and I actually enjoyed these parts. Boy For You was produced by Malcom Burns and originally released by Incarnation Records. Though, perhaps Williamson is paving the way for a come-back a little bit later down the road as this album was initially released some ten years ago.User reviews There are no user reviews for this item.
