Reviews Artist: DashTitle: Sonic Boom Label: Write On Records For instance, "Eventually Evangeline" is a wonderful series of verses, definitely a quick study of backwoods harmonies and rockabilly energies, and near-equal to the alt-rock twang by messers Jay Farrar, Jeff Tweedy and Ryan Adams. Dash’s rebel-yell holler of The Beatles' "I Dont Want To Spoil The Party" is my personal fave since the revered Vern Gosdin wrestled it. Sure, Dash still have some of that rotgut George Thoroughgood Blues/Rock to work through... and I'm not sure they can covert the majority of country rock insurgents to their cause. But Dash are destined to become country souls at this new stage of their career. User reviews There are no user reviews for this item. Add new review Powered by jReviews |
