Crap! Another fantastic Jetsons reference crumbles to the earth. The bad news first: these rootsy ramblers have unceremoniously dumped the rambunctious "Rip Rock" off the back end of their name. However, that's not the only alteration to the Southern swill once burped out by these maniacs. Now as Dash, its okay to take some of their twang-toned tracks as serious as any of your favorite No Depression/Bloodshot label band of the month.

For instance, "Eventually Evangeline" is a wonderful series of verses, definitely a quick study of backwoods harmonies and rockabilly energies, and near-equal to the alt-rock twang by messers Jay Farrar, Jeff Tweedy and Ryan Adams.

Dash’s rebel-yell holler of The Beatles' "I Dont Want To Spoil The Party" is my personal fave since the revered Vern Gosdin wrestled it.

Sure, Dash still have some of that rotgut George Thoroughgood Blues/Rock to work through... and I'm not sure they can covert the majority of country rock insurgents to their cause. But Dash are destined to become country souls at this new stage of their career.
