Reviews Artist: Blood for BloodTitle: Outlaw Anthems Label: Victory Records Outsiders to the core, Blood For Blood tears open the wound of an unsuspecting society and proceeds to proudly pour their brand of lower class lyrical salt to this generation of dead heads and disbelievers. Their hate bred finger-waving exploits thread the needle aimed straight at the eye of modern day fashions, falsehoods and MTV folklore; BFB, a true "fear factor", waving the Black Flag and force-feeding foolish ignorance by way of unrepentant banters and chain gang choruses, "Outlaw Anthems" to the extreme. The "wasted youth" whose back up provides a live foundation to dangerously loud recording levels, is a prevailing theme, the overlooked and oppressed masses Blood For Blood was originally created for-"Ain't Like You (Wasted Youth II)," rants about the non-sensical "reality" based TV shows; "Dead End Street" goes on about worthlessness and hopelessness aided by an uncommonly melodic chorus recalling the finest Exploited/Anti-Heroes philosophy, while "White Trash Anthem" spits in the face of society's aristocratic values and mainstream misgivings about impoverished white culture-a true "white riot" in every sense. Blood For Blood leaves nothing behind here, recounting song by song their origins and pointed views in a tell all bloodletting that will leave its mark on free-thinking outcast individualists the world over… and for the rest, their rude awakening is only moments away.
