If you don't have an open mind, then this album is not for you. Nana's music style is so diverse and different that some people may not be secure enough with themselves to actually hear the music for what it is; music. I found it very comforting and interesting. Tracks like "Siva's Moon Dance" really gave me an insight to their way of life. It almost had an East Indian feel to it. If you closed your eyes you could actually see Siva dancing in your mind. Watching her impressionistic dance change as the tempo of the music change. Almost ten minutes of pure, unadulterated feeling. It was beautiful. Their entire style of music is beautiful and realistic.

"Aphrodite's Star" is a stunning song. It magnificently written and almost comes to life as you listen to it. It was created for a theatrical production but on this album it serves more of a personal purpose for the band. It is one of two dedications and I can easily see how it can be used as such. Tracks like "Alluring Waltz" and "True to the Land" serve more of an uplifting purpose. The first one is very seductive and enticing. It has a great, hypnotic rhythm, which serves as a good foundation for the rest of the song. The second track is more upbeat and is more of an anthem about taking care of where we live as well as one another. It has such a contagious chant that when the song was over I was saying it and didn't even realize it.

Loving and believing what you sing about is what sets good artists apart from great artists. Being one with everything you believe in is never easy but Nana makes it seem like it is. This album has so much feeling that it almost overflows with it. The songs are rather long but when you consider what is being portrayed in the song, you realize that it can't be expressed in 2 or 3 minutes. I feel comforted in knowing that there are albums out there like this. Nana is going in the right direction and is giving us all something to think about. I truly appreciate this album and hope that others will do the same.
