Reviews Artist: Full ForceTitle: Still Standing Label: TVT Records The Full Force sound has been heard and still stands after years. I am in awe of their ability to adapt through the years, weaving around the tragedies they have experienced, yet still able to kick around the industry for trying to keep them down... they're most definitely Still Standing. Not many know Full Force were by pop princess Britney Spears' side as well as N'Sync and the Backstreet Boys as they climbed the ladder of success. Let's talk about the new: both the Float On cuts are straight jammin'. Leave it to Full force to bring such a broad range of musicians together. When you have Method man on the ruff cut and Montell Jordan on the smooth one, you can't handle this. The Force has not lost its touch for producing the beautiful ballad and proper storytelling. Unfortunately, we must be spared the sound of the big drum, melodious keys and thumping bass found on the classics. Now for the old: with all the Full Force productions to date, it's tough to pin down only 9 previous hits for this disc. Each one belongs in the compilation, though this was my first exposure to the Backstreet Boys' cut. The true Full Force fans will be glad to hear that they have maintained their sense of humor as the songs and guest interludes entertain. It was good to hear another top FLYTE production team, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, show their respect and appreciation for these brothers' skills. Needless to say, an album like this with all the remixes and extended versions is a must. Full Force's ability to funk up their own funk has always amazed. All in all this is a very good album and a must have for your Full Force collection.
