Artist: The Exit Strategy
Title: City of Microphones
Label: One Percent Press
Post-punk, or after Punk -- is the style heard on this Exit Strategy album and it will keep you posted with original tracks and a sound similar to Fugazi, Descendents, and Minutemen. Ahh…the refreshing sounds of 80’s punk. Short little turbo-charged songs to change society... like track six, The First, the Finest, the Future, or drum rolling openers sure to capture your attention like the first track, X-Rays.

Uniquely experimental and original enough to skate, surf, or rock your head to. Straight form Buffalo, New York The Exit Strategy will keep you tuned in! Playing together since the eighth grade, this act has been around, producing tracks which should excite any stage and leave you stomping towards the front of any mob, just like on the album cover! Although they're probably still playing the opening act when they're on tour, The Exit Strategy is sure to bring in a mass of old-schoolers. The band features Steve Kabza (guitars and vocals), Mark Constantino (vocals), Tony Flamnio (bass, keys, vocals), and Tim Turcott (drums, percussion, and vocals).

One of my favorites on the album is the last track, Fake Trigger. This song is sure to leave an impression as you head out towards the exit! Pick up a copy of The Exit Strategy’s City of Microphones if you are ready for something both new, while bringing you back to the sounds of the past!
