Petey Pablo's debut release, Diary of a Sinner, is to say the least, disappointing. Great rhyming skills don't account for lack of content. These uninspired songs are more like pickup lines than diary entries. This is not an album about real life experiences and stories concerning this North Carolina rapper.
This album's hit single, 'Raise Up', has already peaked and the following remixes by local radio stations have become old. However, the production on this record is superb. I would venture to say that an instrumental version of "Diary of a Sinner" would sell more copies.

Petey Pablo has not proven much with this album. Perhaps with a little experience and continued mentoring from producer Timbaland, Pablo may be able to create decent music in the future. Your sentence is to time already served listening to his single on the radio. Now run and hide and hope Petey changes his game-plan before writing again.
