Reviews Artist: N.O.R.E.Title: No Reality Label: Babygrande Records I’m not buying it. A Set it Off jump off leaving me extended from a cliff in excitement while the rest of the album sends me on a mission trying to find that same initial high I had when I first put the album in, almost like a drug a Babygrande album that features special guests by Three Six Mafia on That Club Shit and Kanye West on I’m A Get You. Song titles like Throw ‘em Under The Bus and other songs covering drugs and ecstasy really don’t bring me back to that initial curiosity and high. N.O.R.E. is an acronym for Niggaz On (the) Run Eatin'. His previous alias, Noreaga, is derived from the Panamanian general Manuel Noriega, who was convicted of drug running. He was formerly associated with Penalty recordings which owns the Noreaga name; however, after moving to Def Jam records via Roc-A-Fella Records he changed his name. Now known as N.O.R.E, the New York hip hop kid has also collaborated on the hit single "Mas Maiz", including artists such as Nina Sky, Fat Joe, Big Mato, Chingo Bling, Lil Rob, and Lumidee. Currently, owning his own label, Babygrande Records is ready for the mainstream. Previously released albums by the rapper include: N.O.R.E. as Noreaga, which was released on June 16, 1998, Melvin Flynt- Da Hustler which was released on August 24, 1999, God’s Favorite which was released on June 25, 2002, N.O.R.E. y la Familia...Ya Tú Sabe released on July 16, 2006, and Noreality a recent release for this year. I’m a Get You (the ninth track on the album), a song featuring a piano intro and horns might get some people but doesn’t get this reviewer- try again N.O.R.E!
