"Love In Reverse" Update!


ABC-TV'S TURNING POINT PROFILES LOVE IN REVERSE
(ACCESSS to the MUSIC ZONE's November Feature Artist)

The ABC-TV news magazine Turning Point will present a profile of Reprise Records' recording artists Love in Reverse on the program's February 27 edition, airing nationally at 10 PM Eastern and Pacific and 9 PM Central time (the evening after the Grammy Awards).

The program, produced by Emmy-award winning Jonathan Talmadge, chronicles the hopes and dreams of a struggling underground band and offers a behind-the-scenes look at their subsequent signing and the marketing of their debut Reprise Records album, I Was Here. Reprise Records President Howie Klein and Love in Reverse producer Russ Titelman are also seen in the segment, along with other Reprise staffers and managers, Jonny and Marsha Z (Zazula).


"MxPx" On Tour - And on MTV!!


Since the release of their latest CD, MxPx is pulling in some big numbers all over!
  • In November, the band sold out the famed RKCNDY club in Seattle for their record release party.
  • Tracks "Move to Bremerton" and "Chick Magnet" are in heavy rotation on Seattle's station KNDD.
  • "Life in General was the number one record in the Caroline Distribution system for November.
  • The song "Teenage Politics" from the previous album of the same name has been added to rotation on MTV's 120 Minutes and M2, with three new videos from "Life in General" going out soon.

    Swedish Band "Drain S.T.H." Takes U.S. By Storm


    Swedish Rockers, Drain, touring with "Type O Negative," are surprising audiences in every city they visit. These four women have created some of the heaviest metal/rock to hit these shores in a long time.
