This month we're concentrating on new Christmas releases you may be interested in adding to your collection, along with a gift guide for the music lovers on your list. The review of "Merry Arizona - Vol. II" has been included, along with where you can find or order it, since this is the second year this project has been pulled together to benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona. Last year's release was so successful, there is nary a copy to be found - which is a shame since there were some really fun tracks on it that would be great to share with family and friends. However, this year's release is no slouch, with contributions from Glen Campbell, Alice Cooper and several other artists all from the state of Arizona.
Robert Lewis has joined AMZ as a staff writer, and you can see his reviews of the Windham Hill Christmas Music. He also reviews two world bands that you may want to hunt down in your local music specialty store. If you ever have problems locating music you see reviewed here, please e-mail me and I will get the information for you on how you can get it.
As always, we'd love some reader feedback, so please send your comments, questions, or anything else you can think of to ACCESS to the MUSIC ZONE at marellg@doitnow.com
Look for additional reviews of "White Light, White Heat, White Trash by Social Distortion, "In Flight" by Linda Perry, former lead vocalist of "Four Non Blondes, Babyface's new dream team "Az Yet's" debut CD, Qkumba Zoo and Primitive Reason.
