Wrestling has definitely made a successful comeback with its revamped look for the new millennium. From widely watched Pay-Per-View events to motion pictures featuring The Rock, the World Wrestling Federation, or WWF, is one of the hottest things on television right now. Recently, Columbia Records released a soundtrack that includes popular WWF themes. The CD, "Forceable Entry," is a compilation of 18 songs from some of the music industry's current big names, and is well deserving of three stars. Surprisingly enough, my favorites from this album were mostly songs performed by bands I had never heard before, including "One of A Kind" (Rob Van Dam's Theme) by Breaking Point and "Across the Nation" (RAW Theme) by The Union Underground. With its quicker drumbeats and overall fast pace, the former can almost be classified as punk, while the latter is heavier and catchy enough to serve as a good wake-up song. In addition, both songs are under four minutes and progress fast enough to prevent listeners from getting bored.

Other notable songs on "Forceable Entry" include "The Game" (Triple H's Theme) by Drowning Pool, "Never Gonna Stop" (Edge's Theme) by Rob Zombie, and "Just Another Victim" (Tazz's Theme) by Cypress Hill. Compared to Drowning Pool's first release "Bodies," their song on this album is not as heavy because is contains less screaming, and resultantly, creates a much more balanced sound. In addition, the CD includes The Black Cat Crossing Mix of "Never Gonna Stop." Unlike the original, this version has more of a pop or house/dance style, making it not as hard on listeners' ears.

Other well-known bands in the soundtrack are Creed, Disturbed, Limp Bizkit, Our Lady Peace, Sevendust, Saliva. In addition, "Forceable Entry" also features songs from the artists Kid Rock and Marilyn Manson. Overall, WWF fans will certainly enjoy this CD. However, one does not have to be a wrestling fan to like it. Since the album contains 18 songs that range from slow to hip-hop to heavy rock, listeners are guaranteed to find songs that suit their tastes.
