Vince reminds me of Bing Crosby, who was known for his Christmas crooning, as his new Christmas album, done with complete orchestration, will bring holiday pleasure to his fans and anyone else who gets a chance to hear this album. The album contains eleven songs, all of them holiday classics, including the nonsecular favorites "Winter Wonderland," "Silver Bells" and "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow." There are also several traditional carols, among them "O Little Town Of Bethlehem" and "Oh Come All Ye Faithful."

The treasures on this album are "Blue Christmas" and "O Holy Night." The former is less upbeat but much purer with it's less fulsome arrangement. The latter because Vince gives it the most feeling of all the cuts on the album. My personal favorite, though, is "A Cradle In Bethlehem," perhaps because I hadn't heard this song before and it sounded fresh to me. It just beats out the title track, "Breath Of Heaven," which is the most vocally beautiful song on the album. This is an album to play year after year, and each time you do it will be a "Breath Of Heaven."
