Although Celtic music has become extremely popular with a big boost from artists like "Enya" and "Lorena McKennitt," and the overwhelming response to "Riverdance" and "Lord Of The Dance," "Celtic Christmas IV" did not make a very good impression on this reviewer. First of all, none of the songs sound remotely like Christmas music - except for "Christmas Time's A Comin'" by "Ricky Scaggs" of all people! I've also heard the previous Windham Hill Samplers called "Celtic Christmas," and they were a LOT better than this one.

Unless you're an absolutely diehard fan of mournful, non-Christmasy Celtic music, don't waste your time or money on this one!
