First of all, I was talked into going to this concert because my boyfriend really wanted to go. I decided it couldn't hurt, so why not? Little did I know...

We arrived at the Pyramid in Memphis, TN, to a full house. The Pyramid holds approximately 17,000 people and man, it was packed! With my head in gear to listen to some kind of revival, I was ready.

The concert started off with the audience screaming so loud that I couldn't hear anyone on the stage!
I did, however, hear the first song "Fleetwood Mac" started off with - "The Chain," which was an incredible experience for both my eyes and ears. I believe this song is the song that portrays the group itself. Think about it - makes sense if you listen to the lyrics of the song. As on the recently released album, "Dreams" was the next song up. Stevie Nicks was twirling around the stage which drove every guy in sight nuts. And this was just the beginning!
The entire Pyramid was hopping with "Everywhere!" Imagine that, a triangular shape hopping. Well, seriously, it was a very well presented song. Christine McVie had my attention, not only because she's so multi-talented, but because she has a great voice. The next song performed was another rendition of "The Chain." But it led into a song about "picking up the pieces" which I didn't catch the title of - probably because the crowd screaming so loud for MORE that I couldn't hear.
"Temporary One" was very well done by McVie and everyone else. I was really pleased at the sound of the music. It's impossible to compare it to the CD, but it's not bad on either.

"Landslide" was next on the play list, and I was plastered in my seat. I couldn't move. WOW, what a performance! It was totally awesome. I think the entire audience was in suspended animation, waiting and holding their breath for the words and music to flow on this one. What a spectactular job done by Stevie Nicks!
"Bleed to Love Her" was up next, and as always, I perked up to hear Lindsey Buckingham. The song was performed beautifully. Fleetwood was a well-honed group of muscians on the stage with this one. I was in awe, I have to admit. It was also pretty amazing seeing the people attending the concert moving to the right and left, kind of like a wave, but in rhythm with the music. That's how entranced everyone was.
"My Little Demon" was very well done by Lindsey Buckingham. I was quite impressed. I loved the change of beat in the middle of the concert. The timing was perfect.
"Silver Springs" was so well done that I don't think anyone around me was even moving. I think a few tears must've dropped from eyes around me, but I was mesmerized. What a truly beautiful song to witness live. I could go on for the entire 2 1/2 hours we were there, but I won't bore you with it. I think I was most amazed by the concert's flow. It was one of those things that I saw as very unorganized at first and somehow it all just fell in together.
If "Fleetwood Mac" was trying to achieve perfection with their concert tour, they came damn close in Memphis.
