Description: Interchangeable barks of oppression and dissatisfaction, backed by capable, but very standard, punk rock chops and one trick drumming. Does that mean this bad? Hardly. What it does mean is that this is "Agnostic Front" doing "Agnostic Front." If you liked it before, this should be an easy sell. AF is a core brand of punk with giant bro sing-a-longs and double kicked punk breaks a plenty.

The rumbled intro of "It's Time" makes an effort to create something I haven't heard before. Since a lot of core type bands share the same sonic elements, the message and attitude of delivery is usually more important than hitting some catchy guitar hook. "Guliani, Guliani, Guliani, FUCK YOU!" is ranted repeatedly in finest oppressed fashion in "Police State," and makes a definite impact as the opening track. Mostly, this is core punk staples interlaced with charges of an "Agnostic Front" stamp, evident in the "pound it through your skull until you understand" vocal delivery and the occasional unexpected intro or break (which if utilized more could do wonders for the dynamics of "Agnostic Front").

The out of tune backing vocals on "Jailbreak" (hey wasn't that an AC/DC song?), don't do a lot for my faith in backing punk vocals, but when did I ever have faith in backing punk vocals? Dynamics consist of tempo changes and little else, so songs do run together without a lot of recognition. There's a re-occurring theme of New York city, kind of like "Agnostic Front" is deciding whether to blow it up, or take it over. "Riot Riot Upstart" should be able to at least piss it off.
