The name says a lot about 'em.  On the one hand they've got this sugary sweetness or knack for the poppier side of things.  On the other the razor gleams, signaling a close shave to your listening stubble is in the near future… or basically we might say Greenday, called it a day and went to bed satisfied.

After the opening two tracks, something different happens, still in the Power Pop/Punk vein, only slower and more evocative.  "Hate Every Beautiful Day" is this one and easily stands alone as the operative hit single.  It's an anthemic crowd pleaser in an overtone of otherwise fuzzy dynamics.

Described as an Elvis Costello fronted Cheap Trick style, which I'll go with from time to time, particularly in the voice of singer Tim Pagnotta, their post-modern feel is true enough, angling said yesterday players with the more contemporary rage of age and Warped style. What sets 'em apart then? They have better tailors than the rest of us.

Impressive debut in the fine art of hooks, harmonies and hyperactivity.
