Ah yes, a band after my own heart… and could this be the beginning of a new trend -- the lashing out at pre-packaged sell-out success and teeny-bop Pop? One thing's for sure, even if you don't like their music, can't stand their appearance, dismiss 'em as a laughable joke with an unbearable accent, you just gotta love Beerzone for being… well Beerzone! And there's some damned good old schooled-Punk in the pop-topping, fist-banging, society's reject brick-hitting tradition!

If there's a theme to be had friends, it's that of elimination -- get rid of all the pre-fabricated crap, put a little crew in your cut, kick a little ass and have fun with it! The sound is pure '77 with that same snotty sneer and delectable (or detestable depending on who you ask) dark humor, Pistols-style.

What originally started as a localized joke has seen these Brit-boys rise into the ranks of respectability at near-blinding speeds, and isn't that how it always works? Not that they didn't put any thought into their craft… they must have spent long hours in careful deliberation about who they were gonna pick off next with this one… and sorry ladies, ever the great Posh Spice is offered not a glimpse of quarter this go-round. So raise your glass to wine, women and song… or in this case, bitterness, beer, and Billy Wizz.
