"Superdragsmackheadpsychoplasticgogopunk." Say that five times fast. Bit of a mouthfull, eh? Well, check out this new release from "The Kill" and you'll find it's a bit of an ear full too. "The Kill" have extracted the balls of hard-ass metal, the razor sharp edge of electron/intustrial, the jagged tooth sneer of punk, and fused them with the larger then life sound of arena rock. At first listen "The Kill" will have you entranced. "Superdragsmackheadpsychoplasticgogopunk" is more than a great album, it's a sonic addiction.

Jas (vocals), Jason Jameson (guitar), Sammy Allen (bass) and Tim DiDuro (drums), make up this four piece, neo-industrial, smack you in the face glam rock extravaganza. Since the band was formed in fall of 1994, The Kill has recorded two full length CDs, one 5 song EP, and has written over 100 songs. Already opening for Alice Cooper at the House of Blues, Orlando on August 8th, and with rumors flying that Alice will get them on the last leg of his tour, "The Kill" have already caused quite the ruckus on the hard rock scene.

Jason Jameson's guitar work is simply amazing, creating a battlefield of crunch, and a volley of breakneck speed wailings, while Sammy Allen and Tim DiDuro hold down the heaviest of rhythm, pushing the band to an almost thrash metal sound. Just when you think you have them figured out, the three somehow swing the whole sound back to a more melodic and catchy groove. Jas swaggers and swings throughout the record with all the grace of a leather clad James Dean, the fierceness of a cranked up hitman, and the libido of Bill Clinton. Just check out "All Tied up" or "Sister Skeleton," and you'll see just why these guys know how to rock. Thunderous guitars, ground smashing bass, head splitting drums and xxx lyrics - what more could you want from a rock band!?
