JANE'S ADDICTION "Relapse" Update

Opening the small envelope from American Recordings with great anticipation, I discovered not only and update on the status of the "Relapse Project," but also an EP with three songs (two re-mixes each) from the now named album "Kettle Whistle." As things stand now, "Kettle Whistle" on Warner Bros. Records is due out in early November, 1997.

If this is "just a taste" of what the whole album will be like, "J.A." fans and new fans alike, are really in for a treat! With an unusual combination of songs on just this advance copy, you can expect some great variety and music on "Kettle Whistle." After six years apart, the band sounds better than ever. At least the songs on this advance are all songs from previous albums, with just a snippet of a demo or unreleased version that will appear on "Kettle Whistle." A few new songs are expected on the new album, and should be great listening!
