Dear Readers,

Welcome to the SECOND ANNIVERSARY ISSUE of ACCESS to the MUSIC ZONE!! We hope you like our new look and new features, and that it was worth the wait for this GIANT issue!! With two years under our belt, we're still going strong. We're growing every single week, still with the mission of bringing you the best music and concert reviews on the Net. Photos too! We're glad you stopped by, and hope you enjoy what took us two months to put together. I have a few comments I'd like to share with you, but this issue is about the music!

First, and foremost, I'd like to thank all of you who took the time to read my editorial in the July issue, and to write to me with condolences and your own experiences of music touching your life. From the responses I received, it's pretty obvious we all have music as a big part of our lives, and we have memories attached to a lot of songs.

Secondly, good, bad or indifferent, I'm receiving a lot more reader mail every month, and I appreciate the fact that you're not afraid to express your opinions or disagree with the reviews we publish. We get lots of glowing letters about AMZ, but we also get everything from someone else's opinion on a particular album, to advice that we're not reviewing enough of certain kinds of music. There will never be a time when every reader agrees with every review we publish, and we cover as much of each genre as is physically possible in any given month. But, we really appreciate your comments, so please, keep them coming!

Because we have such a HUGE issue this month, I'll keep this brief. We've been working as fast as we can to get everything ready, but this issue has the most reviews we've ever run in the history of the magazine! Between Concerts, the Features, our Debuts, New Releases, Soundtracks, R&B/Urban, Country, Jazz, World and Short Takes, we're covering close to 150 artists! We had a great combined July/August issue in 1997, when we launched our own domain, but it was tiny compared to this year. AMZ is DEFINITELY growing by leaps and bounds, thanks to all of you.

Thanks for your patience, keep tuning in, and keep those letters coming. Without you, we wouldn't be the fastest growing Music E-zine on the Net!

Please send your comments, questions, or anything else you can think of to ACCESS to the MUSIC ZONE at marellg@music-reviewer.com

See You In Cyber Space!
