Jim Brickman's gentle piano playing, Dave Koz's saxophone, Olivia Newton John's, Donny Osmond's and Annie Cochran's vocals, and David Benoit's equally pleasing piano styling - what more could one ask for? In his welcome, Brickman invites the audience to prepare for romance, to take the hand of the person sitting with them, sit back and enjoy it all.

The first piece is a piano duet by David Benoit and Jim Brickman titled "Glory," followed by 3 Brickman solos, "Rocket To The Moon," "Lake Erie Rainfall" and "Picture This."

Donny Osmond sings "Love Of My Life" next. His voice is perfect for romantic songs, and the words evoke all the best of what lovers do for one another: "I am afraid if I lost you, girl, I'd fall through the cracks. . .You are the love of my life and I'm so glad you found me."

Another perfect voice for romance songs is, of course, Olivia Newton John's. Her voice soars over Brickman's light piano accompaniment as she sings "Valentine" and "Change Of Heart." Olivia and Jim talk a little bit about the song "Change Of Heart," which they wrote together, and how the act of writing a song together brings out things that would normally not be expressed between people who are just friends.

In "The Love I found In You" we get our first taste of Brickman's voice on this CD, and Dave Koz and his saxophone join him. The audience breaks into applause as Koz joins Brickman in the middle of the song. Brickman then introduces him as one of his favorite people to perform with and a good friend. The next song, "Partners In Crime," features Koz on his saxophone. The next guest artist is Anne Cochran. Her sultry voice is the perfect pick for "By Heart." ". . .and even if we're worlds apart, I'll find my way back to you, by heart."

The last track is "Starbright (The Lullaby Medley)" sung and played by Jim Brickman. It provides a glorious close to this romantic album. The next time you are looking for that "just right" music to play during a quiet, intimate dinner, pick this one.
