Hmm, just how many scenerios can you think of where you could make use of 101 punk bands playing 30 second songs, all collected on one cd? It's not easy, but if you check out Fat Wreck Chords newest compilation release, "Short Music For Short People," you may find your self making just such a list. The disc sports tons of great 30 second tunes. The highlight tracks include: Less Then Jake, Unwritten Law, Blink 182, Spazz, Sick Of It All and H20, but that's just to name a few 'cause there are way too many to metion here.

So, what would ya use a record like this for??? Here's what I have come up with:

- On an airplane that is about to crash and you want to hear all your favorite punk bands

- About to be stranded on a desert Island and just not sure which punk record to bring cause you can only fit one in your travel bag

- The perfect solution for the punk enthusiasts in need of answering machine message material

- Great way to get even with your Brittany Spears loving girlfriend when it's your turn to pop in a CD on the car ride home

- It would be kinda cool to see the CD player track display go that high OK, now it's your turn. Come up with your own reasons and e-mail them to me (gsciacca@music-reviewer.com). The best reason will win my copy of the disc. Or you could take the lazy way out and go buy the disc. It's actually pretty cool, with lots of great tracks. Besides, this is such a conversation piece it's worth including in your collection.
