Nocturnal hymns reign supreme on this latest endeavor from American Black Metal phenomenon, "Black Funeral." Led by the cataclysmic chants and shuddering sounds of Michael Ford and Shanna LeJeune, "Moon Of Characith" is an exploration of the darkside. Spending long hours in the dark night conjuring up audio images designed to plunge into the fantastic psyche, or the inner perspective of the human mind, "Black Funeral" has created a soundscape layered in black magik, fed by haunted spirits and hidden desires. It's too deep for words, and follows only a pattern of the night, forever frightful in form, a soundtrack to the occult that will both terrify the subconscious and subjugate the soul.
