"Tevin Campbell" bounces back onto the music scene with his new self titled album, but this time, the style overall has a little more variety than past releases. His music has definitely matured, as has he. Although he is still singing about relationships, his style of music is geared toward a more mature audience.

He adds a little spunk at the beginning of the album with the hits "Another Way" and "Never Again." These are a great intro to the rest of the album, which consists of love ballads that soothe the heart. Tevin's duet with Coko in "Everything You Are" is an incredible song in which both artists compliment each other with their amazing vocals. You get a little bit of everything from this album. Whether it's inspiration from "Don't Throw Your Life Away," or a burst of energy from "My Love Ain't Blind," Tevin Campbell has mastered the art of balancing his style into something that many people can enjoy.

The end of the album offers a re-mix of a previous song on the CD, only on this take Tevin outdoes himself with Spanish lyrics in a song called "Siempre Estaras En Mi."

This album exceeded my expectations, and would be a great addition to any collection.
