Okay, it comes down to this. If "Murphy's Law" were die hard hockey fans they would be "Two Man Advantage." On the one hand, the combination of punk rock, hockey, and beer sounds pretty scary, but in the case of "2MA" it's the perfect formula for an interesting concept.

Bud Tkachuk (vocals, center), Teemu Heineken (Bass, defense), Plain Old Skate (guitar, right wing), Captain Bannerman (guitar, Left Wing) and Amstel Fuhr (Drums, goalie) turn punk into an extreme sport/comedy act. Tracks like "Chug It," "Skating Down The Ice" and "I Want Beer," are hysterical party anthems. It reminds me of the days when "Murphy's Law" were doing "Top Of The Keg."

Unfortunately, these guys come off as a novelty band, and like all novelty records, the joke gets real old after a while. It's worth a listen or two, though.
