Ok, ok, granted, anyone who knows me knows that I have done my fair share of ranting about the "Stones" being old and washed up. Granted, I believe that geritol rock destroys legends, and yes granted, I passed on "Stones" tickets for the Bridges tour because I just didn't want to see Mic hit the stage with a walker. But I have to hand it to the boys, they definitely still got it. I stand corrected. "No Security," recorded live on the Bridges tour, is living proof that The "Rolling Stones" can still rock with the best of them.

The record's first single (complete with VH-1 Video Release), the classic "Gimme Shelter," is powerful and rocks just as hard is it ever did. "Memory Motel" oozes with bluesy flavor, snapping and popping all the way, with help form Dave Mathews on vocals. Also Making special appearances are Taj Mahal on "Corinna," and Joshua Redman blowing sax on "Waiting On A Friend."

Tracks like "Live With Me" and "Out Of Control" exhibit the power and mastership that could only be the "Rolling Stones." The classic "The Last Time" seems to grow even greater with maturity, pointing out the fact that perhaps the "Stone's" are not so much older, but rather more well seasoned musicians. Either way, one thing is for sure. I missed a great tour. The "Stone's" still kick ass, and as the great Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) put it, "You're never too old to rock and roll, if you're too young to die."
